Habibi is the lead single from Belle and The Beats' debut album Qetesh. On the new track, Belle sings about loving someone who is torn between two cultures. She describes the barriers that the outside world poses to an intercultural love affair, and the struggle that this creates. “The ultimate form of loving someone is letting go of someone when needed. An ego-transcending emotion that requires great inner strength,” said the band’s frontwoman.
